Open to : All members of YFGC between ages 60-75.
Available Programs
Bible Studies : Old and New Testament Studies led by pastors
Social Programs : Recreational and social programs
Hobby and Talent Developing: Group activities according to individual hobbies and talents
Special Activities
"Filial" Tours : A group tour sponsored by the YFGC
Convalescent Visits : Visitation to lonely elderly people in convalescent hospitals
Celebration Honoring the Elderly : A special day of celebration
honoring the elderly, with participation of various departments of the church.
Picnic Worship Service : A day of worshipping the Lord outside the
church in the nature created by God.
Praise Club : Offers personal coaching of hymns by a
professional music director.
Worship Dancing Club : Offers personal coaching for
Worship Dances by specialized instructors.
Traditional Calligraphy Club : Offers training in traditional Korean
calligraphy, providing the elderly with a period of soothing and contemplation.
Bible Study and Praise in Japanese : Studying the Bible and
praising the Lord in the language of our nearest neighbor, Japan.
Hiking Club : Fun and healthy hiking activities for the
health of the elderly.
'Gateball' Club : A Koreanized version of mini golf, for
the enjoyment and health of the elderly.
Korean Language Club : For those who have not had the
benefit of formal education in their youth.
Home-visitation Club : Visitation to those around us who are less
fortunate, to comfort and to encourage them in their lives of faith.
Health Studies : Lectures in health by licensed doctors of
eastern medicine.

Dates of Importance
1983, March 5 : Held the first service with Pastor Cho Yonggi as "Glory Mission"
1985, September 3 : Established the School for the Elderly to promote self-improvement and fellowship.
1986, January 1 : Adopted a three year curriculum to be used by the School for the Elderly.
1988, December 15 : The first class to graduate with 83 graduates.
1990, September 23 : Renamed to "Glory Elderly College Mission Group".
1997, January 1 : Renamed to "Glory College for the Elderly".
