YFGC recognizes the duty and the necessity of the church to strive
toward providing education and nurturing for newly-born Christians
who have received Christ as their personal Saviour, and to ascertain their
successful integration into the church to continue their Christian lives within
the help and orientation of the church.
1. New Believers Reception and Orientation
On Sundays after each of the seven worship services in the main
sanctuary, there is a reception for all newly born Christians to welcome them
in becoming children of God. During the reception, the new believers will
learn more about the various programs offered by the church to help them in
their maturation as Christians to become pleasing to God. Along with the information
about Yoido Full Gospel Church, the newly born Christians can decide
and enroll in an education program best suited for them. After the
orientation, each new believer is presented with a Bible and a souvenir to
commemorate their acceptance of Christ as their personal Saviour.
2. The First Level of Education for the Newly Born Christians

1) Sunday Classes
Time: Sundays 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM
Place: Basement of the main sanctuary, New Believers' Education Hall
Period: 4 weeks, Certification Ceremony, presentation of the hymn/gospel song book.
2) Weekday Classes
Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Wednesdays 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM
Place: 1st floor of the main sanctuary, New Believers' Reception Hall
Period: 1 week, presentation of the hymn/gospel song book.
3) Distance Education
Registration: Sundays and weekdays beginning at 9:00 AM
Place : The 1st Education Building 9th floor, #904
Period : 4 weeks, Certification, presentation of a Bible and a hymn/gospel song book.
4) Education Program for New Believers covers eight topical lessons:
Lesson 1 : Who is God?
Lesson 2 : Man and Sin
Lesson 3 : Why is Salvation Necessary?
Lesson 4 : Fivefold Gospel and Threefold Blessing
Lesson 5 : The Fundamentals of the Bible
Lesson 6 : How Must One Pray?
Lesson 7 : Christian Ethics
Lesson 8 : About the Church...

3. The Second Level - One-on-One Mentoring
According to the Bible, Colossians 1:28,29, a newly-born Christian is
like a little child in desperate need of a mentor. The responsibility of guiding
and nurturing a newly-born Christian falls on the one who led the person
to Christ (I Peter 5:8). As such, once a newly-born Christian
completes the first level education program, he or she then enters into the
One-on-One mentoring program led by a mature Christian belonging to the
cell and district of the newly-born Christian.
The One-on-One mentoring program will cover the following topics:
Unit 1: The Unshakable Proof of Salvation
Unit 2: The Word of God
Unit 3: The Powerful Prayer Life
Unit 4: The Spirit Filled Life
Unit 5: The Life Belonging to God
Unit 6: The Righteous Church Life
Unit 7: The Life of Witnessing
Those who enter into this program will be formally registered into a
cell and district.
4. Education Program for Mentors
This program is offered for those who are qualified to become mentors
for new believers. They must have the recommendation from the
area-pastors in order to enroll, and those who successfully lead the mentoring
program for two new believers will receive a worship table autographed by
Pastor Cho Yonggi.
